Safe Haven

It is with great regret that I must inform you that Safe Haven will be shutting down within the next few weeks. It was a great run but in reality all good things must come to an end and this is Safe Havens time. As it was quite clear Safe Haven has been on a downfall the past few months and we have done everything we could do within our resources to revive it. But in the end it just became too much.

Many people often felt like us Admins weren’t active enough during this downfall and refused to accept the fact that we had lives outside of the server. The truth is we simply couldn’t find time lately especially in the past month. With college just around the corner grades are more important than ever. I can speak for myself in saying that this past month I have put so much time into studying that running a quality server is just simply impossible. I’m sure Hobiekater feels the same way too. Not only do we have to focus on grades but Hobie and I both got jobs over the last few weeks of summer and found it even harder to maintain the server. I’ve had days where I would get out of school and go straight to work for a 7 hour shift. That is a 14 hour day then when I got home I had to do homework until I would pass out from exhaustion.

It really wasn’t fair for us or you guys. You the players demanded so much out of us because you knew what we were capable of. Sure it got stressful, but that is one of the things I enjoyed the most about running the server and I really did appreciate all the criticsm. We also felt that it wasn’t fair for you guys to play on something that wasn’t up to par. In our books if we aren’t one of the best or the best than we failed as an Admin. We also felt that we couldn’t put in sufficient time that was needed to run a successful server anymore, as was stated above.

I would really like to stay in contact with everyone if there is a way. Whether it be subscribing to you on Youtube or joining your server. Feel free to post your IP on the website or your youtube and will will subscribe to you. Finally, feel free to post any memories, thoughts, etc. I will try to answer any questions that I can.

It really has been an honor to play with/run the server with all of you guys. These past 2 years will always be remembered dearly. It really was a hard decision to shut down Safe Haven. Just putting those words together is sorrowing.

He has 0 experience with running a server.
I really do hope you know what I aim for the server. Now that SafeHaven is shutting down, I am fully dedicating my time to carry on the SafeHaven tradition. I don't care if I get 10 players on at a time, that is not my concern at all. I am just wanting to relive the glory days, that is all.

Although I do strongly dislike you you're right and I hope his server succeeds which I doubt but what will your server be I know you're better at maintaining one

it had amazing player base at one point this is true but from the beginning it started failing safehaven will be missed dearly :) it's one of the past minecraft server gods along with mcpvp mc kits c/n/s.nerd.nuand hivemc.eu
